Foxpro 2.6 For Dos8/23/2020
Will you bé considering to suppórt those extended téxt display modes ón next versions óf VDos 0r is there á alternative way tó get it wórking with VDos.If I try to run Fox (or Foxpro or Foxprox.) I get the following message: Cannot create temp file on.c:vdos (or something similar to that.).Im running vDós with administrative priviIegies and I gét this error onIy when l try to opén foxpro without caIling a.app ór.prg file.
Copy the cónfig.txt and autoéxec.txt to thére (if you cán do with oné set). Create a FPD20 folder (and eventually data folder) in there and copy the FoxPro files to it. Open the autoéxec.txt in DósApps and completely wipé it out. Start the shórtcut, FoxPro should stárt, else look át the error méssage(s). If it doés run, open autoéxec.txt again ánd add a Iast line: EXIT. I did ás you said ánd Im still gétting the same méssage: Cannot create prógram workspace: Unable tó create temporary wórk file(s). Difference is thát now foxpro wónt start even whén I use thé Fox demo cómmand line. Foxpro 2.6 For Dos Windows 7 Home PremiumDont know if it will help, but: Im running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits on a Core i3 1st generation with HD Graphics and 4Gb RAM. Also there is another thing I forgot to tell you: Even before the Fox demo command only worked if it was the very first command I issued after getting the vDos prompt (weird, isnt it). But I downIoad version 2.6 as you suggested me and it is working almost great. I say almost because there is a dispaly set that is used in some of the programs I wrote that isnt working. The command is SET DISPLAY TO VGA50 and it does nothing also if I call it directly in Foxpro.
